During the show, major memory companies release their newest products and technological achievements. This year, FMS changed its branding from the \u2018Flash Memory Summit\u2019 to \u2019the Future of Memory and Storage,\u2019 recognizing the fact that the NVM market is no longer flash-only. It covers emerging technologies such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.weebit-nano.com\/definition\/reram-or-rram\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ReRAM<\/a> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.weebit-nano.com\/definition\/rram\/\">RRAM<\/a>) and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.weebit-nano.com\/definition\/mram\/\">MRAM<\/a>, which are now taking more significant market share, especially as embedded <a href=\"https:\/\/www.weebit-nano.com\/definition\/flash\/\">Flash<\/a> hits a scaling wall.<\/p>\n<p>One application area where ReRAM is gaining traction is automotive, where it brings high-temperature reliability, immunity to electromagnetic interference, high endurance, fast switching speed, longevity and security. Many automotive applications like autonomous vehicles and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) are also part of the AI revolution which is rapidly changing the world. The focus from an NVM perspective is on increased capacity, energy efficiency, and performance. But that must be married with cost efficiency \u2013 an NVM for AI, supporting large densities, must be cheap enough to manufacture and mass produce. ReRAM is an ideal fit.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Weebit ReRAM: The Latest Foundry Developments<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>One of Weebit\u2019s important recent developments is the tape-out of a demonstration chip integrating Weebit\u2019s embedded ReRAM module in DB HiTek\u2019s 130nm <a href=\"https:\/\/www.weebit-nano.com\/definition\/bcd-bcdmos\/\">BCD<\/a> process. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.weebit-nano.com\/news\/press-releases\/weebit-nano-and-db-hitek-tape-out-reram-module-in-db-hiteks-130nm-bcd-process\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">We announced this milestone recently<\/a> with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dbhitek.co.kr\/eng\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DB HiTek<\/a> \u2013 a tier-one foundry in South Korea. DB HiTek\u2019s 130nm BCD process is ideal for analog, mixed-signal and high-voltage designs. We\u2019re seeing interest from their customers in a variety of applications including smart power management integrated circuits (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.weebit-nano.com\/definition\/pmic\/\">PMIC<\/a>s), where integrating the PMIC with a controller on one die can lead to significant advantages in terms of performance, security, power and cost.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re now showing publicly for the first time performance data of our ReRAM technology implemented on GlobalFoundries 22FDX\u00ae wafers including endurance and retention data. These are the first such ReRAM results.<\/p>\n<p>Pre-qualification results show Weebit\u2019s ReRAM stack is stable at 105 degrees Celsius up to 10K cycles endurance. We\u2019re also demonstrating very good data retention, maintaining pre- and post-cycling for a long time at high temperatures (150\u00b0C). If they like the design, they can license our product for commercial production with SkyWater.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Weebit ReRAM module has already been fully qualified in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.skywatertechnology.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SkyWater Technology<\/a>\u2019s 130nm <a href=\"https:\/\/www.weebit-nano.com\/definition\/cmos\/\">CMOS<\/a> (S130) process at temperatures of up to 125 degrees Celsius\u2014the temperature specified for Grade-1 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.weebit-nano.com\/market\/applications\/\">automotive applications.<\/a> We\u2019ve also already<a href=\"https:\/\/www.weebit-nano.com\/news\/press-releases\/weebit-nano-demonstrates-performance-of-its-reram-under-extended-automotive-conditions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> showed ReRAM results<\/a> on SkyWater S130 under extended automotive conditions with extremely high 100K endurance cycles at very high temp of 150 degrees Celsius.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>You can see <a
